Maggie: America's Overlooked Child

Maggie represents the underappreciated, overlooked child of the American family. Rarely to be seen without her pacifier, Maggie embarks on many adventures of her own; many of which are not known to anyone but herself. The most frequent offender for overlooking Maggie is her own father, who has frequently been caught refering to his, "two children."

Maggie serves as a child catalyst between the mischevious Bartand the overachieving Lisa. Because of her young age, Maggie does not have many stereotypical personality traits. This, combined with the fact that she does not have the ability to talk, causes Maggie to be an innocent bystander for many situations the rest of the family encounters.
