MediaScript refers to a variety of things, including

• An approach to computing that emphasizes interactive scripting of media applications, particularly graphics applications.
• A plug-in for GIMP that supports interactive scripting. (In this context, MediaScript provides an alternative to Script-Fu and the Script-Fu console.)
• A framework for building plug-ins for other applications.

For now, our primary product is the GIMP plug-in that provides an interactive scripting environment.

For those who cannot use our plug-in, we also provide a library of procedures that make the GIMP easier to script with Script-Fu (and, soon, Python-Fu).

MediaScript is open-source software, licensed under an MIT open source license.
