The bookstore does have a full refund return policy, which is useful in some situations. In the case of dropping a class, some books can be returned for this refund. This is not the case for books with shrink wrap around them, or with cd pocket, that have been opened. Imagine a student who happens to take Fundamentals of Physics and decides after the first 2 weeks that the class isn't what they want, so they drop it. No problem, right, just return the book. Wrong. The physics book is shrink wrapped, and by the first 2 seeks the book has already been used. Now the student is out 140 dollars because they tore some thin plastic. eCampus, however, will buy books back from you after the end of the semester. This partially demonstrates the lack of trust some services have toward the students
