Demo preparation
Be ready to present by class time on Monday, 26 February 2018.
On the first Monday of each sprint, you present on work accomplished during the previous sprint and your plans for the coming sprint. On the second Monday of each sprint, you do a quick demonstration (a.k.a. “Dog and Pony show”) to demonstrate the status of your system.
It may seem odd to do a demonstration in the middle of a sprint. Our demos will usually involve work completed in the last sprint. (You should normally be working on a safe branch during the sprint in any case.)
Plan a demo that is approximately five minutes long and that shows off some interesting aspect of the current state of your system, preferably some issue related to the previous or current sprint. For example, you might show a feature that you just completed or a bug that you intend to fix.
Your presentation should be professional. Among other things, you should know how to connect your computer to the projector and you should have rehearsed and attempted any steps you plan to present.
Be ready for questions! And be ready to ask questions about other groups’ demonstrations.
