Questions
When are lab writeups due?
- Monday lab -> Wednesday
- Tuesday lab -> Friday
- Wednesday lab -> Friday
- Friday lab -> Monday
- They should appear on the schedule.
Why does composition start from the right and go to the left?
(compose f g) is suppose to be like the mathematical fog.
(fog)(x) = f(g(x)) in traditional mathematical notation.
((o f g) x) = (f (g x)) in Scheme notation.
Why can Scheme understand 6/5 but not (6/5)?
The first one is one of the ways we can denote numbers. (This is an exact number.)
Parentheses signify “Apply a procedure!”
Lab
It’s only week two! Where’s that flurry of energy and activity?
Some notes
- Yes, it’s okay to copy and paste the code from the lab rather than retyping it.
- Yes, it’s okay to retype it, too, if you think you learn from retyping.
- I may have the direction wrong on the rotation.
- Remember: Save as you go.
