- Tonight I will set up late due dates for all the readings and labs
for those who want to catch up. In general, on-time readings and
labs require “made a good effort” and late readings and labs require
“primarily correct”.
- Remember: If you want an extension on SoLA 4, you must arrange for
it in advance.
- There are reported Omicron cases in Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin,
and Missouri. Why are there no reported cases in Iowa?
- We try not to test in Iowa.
- Be careful, more careful than normal.

- Mentor session Tuesday at 8pm.
- Debate Tuesday at 7pm in the Kernel of the HSSC.

- SoLA 4 released Wednesday at 2:30, due Thursday
- Class time Wednesday is a chance to ask questions on the SoLA.
- We hope to have this graded by Monday. (We hope to have
everything graded by Monday.)
- SoLA 5 released next Tuesday, due next Friday
Q&A
How long does it take to write a SoLA?
For this one, each set of seven questions has taken me about two
hours. I still have one set of questions to go.
What happens if redos are not graded promptly?
We’ll likely be more generous in the grading scale.
