Preliminaries
-------------

### Admin

* There seems to be some confusion about upcoming work.  Exam 4 (due week 14)
  and the final (finals week) are different creatures.
* If you choose to take the final, you can take it at 9 or 2 on Tuesday or
  Wednesday of finals week.  (I teach two sections, and each section has
  two times.)
* Morning section: Thanks for allowing Narren to record your comments on 
  me.  I do *not* plan to watch them.  But I have heard that you need to 
  work on being more critical.
* I told a colleague that I had a great time doing yesterday's pseudo-Socratic
  mode of teaching (asking a series of questions to forced volunteers).
  Their response?  "So, what do the students think?"
