Preliminaries

### Admin

* Reminder: If you miss class, you have a responsibility to
  send me a note.  Ideally the same day. Preferably in advance.  
* Advice from last semester that didn't fit on the exam.
    * If you need tutoring, ask right away!
    * Engage more often with people.
    * Talk to Sam.
* Mentor session Thursday at 8:00 p.m.
* Review sessions (and exam Q&A sessions) Thursday at 9:00 and 1:15.
* We may try yet another class model.  We'll spend some time working on
  lab, and then we'll get together as a class to discuss answers.
* Warning!  This is a newly designed lab.  There may be flaws.
