An introduction to many of the fundamental concepts in comptuer science. Builds upon the programming knowledge from Computer Science 151 to study the design, analysis, and verification of algorithms. Includes a discussion of data abstractions and data structures. Also provides an overview of the field of computer science. Includes formal laboratory work.
Prerequisites: Computer Science 151.
