Fundamentals of Computer Science II (CSC-152 2000S)

Project, Phase 1: Narratives

Assigned: Friday, February 4, 2000
Due: Monday, February 7, 2000

This is intended to be a short assignment to get you started thinking about the project. Please do not spend more than an hour or so on it.

Write a short description of some interaction between the player of our game and the game. You might describe the start of the game or some move in the middle of the game. Once you have written your narrative, circle the nouns and underline the verbs.

Pick one noun that you think would naturally serve as an object in the project and write a more comprehensive description of the object: what fields it is likely to have and what methods it is likely to need to provide.

While you may discuss the project with others, I would prefer that each student write up his or her own narrative and identify his or her own objects and methods.

Turning it in: Email me your answer. Please do not use enclosures. (Yes, I realize that I will not be able to see your circled nouns and underlined verbs.) I will post them on the course web site.
