  • Read lab J2 for tomorrow.
• I don't expect you to finish lab J1 in class today, but you should at least think about the remaining problems.
• We'll spend two days on J2.

Preparation

I'll spend a few minutes taking general questions about the lab before we begin.

• To make a copy of a library class,
  • Click on the link with the right mouse button.
  • Select ``Save Link As ...''
  • Pick an appropriate file name.
• Make sure to store each class in a separate file of the form ClassName.java.
• To compile a file, use
  java ClassName.java
• To execute (interpret) a program, use
  java ClassName
• When your program grows to many classes, Java uses the main method in the class you spcify for the interpreter.
