When Good Bookstores go Bad

One of the most unforgiveable of offenses for a campus bookstore is not having a required book in stock. The bookstore should know what books are required for each class very far in advance, certainly far enough for the books to be here before classes start. However, this year Music 295 needed 4 books this semester, but the bookstore only had 1 of them initially. The other 3 came later, after the class started; however, there weren't enough to supply the whole class. Late books can be blamed on the shipping company or the publisher, but not having enought supply is clearly the bookstores fault. Especially considering that they had enough of the first book for the whole class, so they knew how many of the other 3 they needed. This would be forgiveable if the books and supplies weren't so overpriced.
